Each year, Financial Reporting honors the “Best Paper Award” to one of the papers presented at its yearly workshop. The winners of the first three editions of the workshop are:

Best paper in Italian: Arena, Professione amministratori: Interlocking directorship e qualità degli utili nelle imprese Italiane quotate.
Best paper in English: Moscariello, Pizzo, and Vinciguerra, Market incentives and regulators’ activity shaping financial information: An analysis of the net debt disclosure in Italy.

Best Workshop Paper and Best Reviewer 2012
Financial Reporting is proud to announce the names of the winners of the Best Workshop Paper and the Best Reviewer 2012 Awards.
Lionzo, Behn, Beck and Rossignoli won the Best Workshop Paper Award with a paper entitled "Do Accounting Standards Motivate Strategic Investment Behavior? A Cross-Sectional Comparison of Firm Investment Strategies in the U.S. GAAP and IFRS Reporting Environments".
Eugenio D'Amico won the Best Reviewer 2012 Award.

Starting from this year, Financial Reporting will also honor the “Best Reviewer Award” to one of the colleagues and friends who served as reviewer in 2012. The name of the winner will be disclosed during the IV FR Workshop, to be held in Rome from 13th to 14th June 2013.
